A series of solo exhibitions by artist Sangmin Yoon, well-known as a magical photographer, is held. Insa Gana Art Center (1st floor) Solo exhibition (Insa-dong, Seoul, April 19 - April 26, 2022), Gyoha Art Center solo exhibition (Paju, April 27 - May 3, 2022), Capore Solo exhibition in the convention room (Yangpyeong, June 1 - June 30, 2022), and a solo exhibition at K&P Gallery New York (New York, September 1 - September 11, 2022).

Artist Sangmin Yoon is an artist who pioneered a new genre in which photography is expressed like that of an Impressionist painter by inducing the shedding and mixing of light inside the camera with his own special method. This solo exhibition is under the theme of 'From the Light'.

Artist Yoon Sang-min said, "Photography is the art of light that originates from and is completed by light. Light is also the source of life. Abstraction starts with omission. Subtraction is another addition, and omission is another creation. "There is this.

By omitting a lot of the details of the subject matter, Yun creates an abstract image that the artist pursues, and works in an amazing way to imply the artist's intentions in the image.

For example, the tree of the subject fills the background of the work, but various abstract expressions using the light around the tree are very dynamic.

Through the solo exhibition of Sangmin Yoon, you can see the special efforts of artist Yoon, who explores light and studies the nature of light to create a new image.

Light is mixed inside the camera, and various colors that are different from the colors expressed by hand like a painting are melted in Yun's work. It is a work completed in one shot using only the camera, surprising the viewer to the extent that it cannot be considered.

If you follow the dynamic flow of light by Sangmin Yoon, you can meet the joys and sorrows and dreams of life in his works.

Through numerous overseas exhibitions such as solo exhibitions in New York, Rome, and Beijing, he is more well-known abroad than in Korea. He served as the president of the Korean-Chinese Art Association and is currently working as a full-time photographer.

마법의 사진작가로 잘 알려진 윤상민 작가의 개인전이 잇달아 열린다.  인사가나아트센터(1층) 개인전(서울 인사동,2022년4월19일~ 4월26일)을 시작으로 교하아트센터 개인전(파주,2022년4월27일~5월3일), 카포레 컨벤션룸 개인전(양평,2022년6월1일~ 6월30일), 뉴욕K&P갤러리 개인전(뉴욕,2022년9월1일~9월11일) 이다. 

윤상민 작가는 자신 만의 특별한 방법으로 카메라 내부에서 빛의 흘림과 혼합을 유도하여 사진이 마치 인상파 화가의 그림처럼 표현되는 새로운 장르를 개척란 작가이다. 이번 개인전은 '빛으로 부터'라는 주제로 전시한다.

윤상민 작가는 "사진은 빛으로 부터 비롯되고 빛에 의해 완성되는 빛의 예술이다. 빛은 생명의 근원이기도 하다.추상은 생략으로부터 출발한다. 빼는 것은 또 하나의 더하기이고 생략은 또 다른 창조이다."라고 밝히고 이있다.

윤 작가는 촬영대상의 세밀한 부분을 많이 생략 시킴으로써 작가가 추구하는 추상적인 이미지를  탄생시켜 작가의 의도를 그 이미지 속에 함축시키는 놀라운 방식의 작품활동을 펼치고 있다. 

예를들어 촬영대상의 나무가 작품의 바탕을 채우지만 나무 주위의 빛을 활용한 추상적인 다양한 표현은 매우 역동적이다. 

빛을 탐구하고 빛의 본질을 연구하여 새로운 이미지를 탄생시키는 윤 작가의 특별한 노력을 윤상민 개인전을 통해 확인할 수 있다.

카메라 내부에서 빛의 혼합이 일어나 그림처럼 손으로 표현한 색감과는 다른 다양한 색상이 윤 작가의 작품 속에 녹아있다. 카메라만을 이용하여 한 번의 샷으로 완성된 작품으로 생각할 수 없을 정도로  보는 이를 깜짝 놀라게  한다.

윤상민 작가의 역동적인 빛의 흐름을 따라가다가 보면 그의 작품속에서 인생의 희로애락과 꿈을 만날 수 있다. 

뉴욕, 로마, 베이징 개인전등 다수의 해외전시를 통해 국내보다 해외에 더욱 잘 알려진 작가이다. 한중미술협회 회장을 역임하였으며 현재 전업사진작가로 활동 중이다.
